Take It Back
Take It Back, the title track from Whiskey Rose’s debut CD, was developed from a song written by Al Huff, a guitarist who has recorded some with Whiskey Rose but is better known for his live performances with the band. Whiskey Rose has recorded two songs taken from his riffs... the other being a song called I Believe. In both cases, he presented the band with a strong rhythm which, collectively, Al and the band added lyrics and melody to and created a couple great songs. In the case of Take It Back, Jason created the incredible sweetening which almost singlehandedly provides the song with its distinct flavor.
