Blue Moon Over Heaven
All of the members of Whiskey Rose have long loved the blues and it’s not hard to detect the Southern Blues influence in Whiskey Rose’s music. John, the band’s lead guitarist, developed the basic rhythm and lead of Blue Moon Over Heaven as a tribute to that style of music for which the band has such a deep respect. Rob and Brandi then joined in on the rhythm, melody and lyrics and Jason added his input. Together, Whiskey Rose has created something of a fusion between Stevie Ray Vaughan, B.B. King and Eric Clapton in a song which has come to stand out already with the fans and media alike as a Whiskey Rose classic in the making.
